Update 4-14-25
It’s official: The Dark Synths is DONE. The fourth installment in The Song of the Ellydian saga is launching in just about a week and a half, and I couldn’t be more pumped. Not only is this book packed with intense battles, twisted loyalties, and high-stakes magic—it also hit my highest pre-order numbers to date. Huge thanks to all of you who’ve been riding with me!
Now here’s where it gets even better: I finally wised up and set up a pre-order for Book 5 to go live right at the end of The Dark Synths. That’s right—no long wait to lock in your spot for the next ride through the madness.
Book 5 is titled Master of Daggers—and if you’ve been following closely, I bet you’ve got a strong guess who it’s about (spoiler: it’s NOT Soren). 👀
Writing The Dark Synths was an absolute blast—probably the most fun I’ve had writing in a while. Though let’s be honest, each of these books has its own flavor of wild joy. This one took me about five months to finish, which is about my average. But 2025 is shaping up to be a big one: I’m aiming to launch four books total this year, including one under a secret pen name (more on that another time).
That said—fear not! The Song of the Ellydian series is my heart and soul. I’m just as desperate to finish it as many of you are to see how it all ends. I love this series. And even with the secret-side-project chaos, I’m diving into Book 5 next, and I already have a mountain of notes ready to roll.
Side note: the subplots in this series? Out. Of. Control. 😅 But that’s what happens when you’re writing a seven-book epic—and I’m here for all of it.
Oh—and in case you’re wondering, The Dark Synths clocked in at about 105,000 words, so nearly 400 pages of plot twists, chaos, and magic. Not too shabby.
Thanks again for your support. Can’t wait for you to read what’s coming.
