Just a quick update-

Master of Daggers, Book 5, is moving along smoothly. Currently at 18k words out of 100k.

So many characters and POVs that the book seems to move quickly and I find it harder to get to all the subplots I’ve been seeding these last few years.

With this book, I have much of plot established, but I decided to leave it loosely plotted to give way for magical moments that happen during the writing.

This is my new normal process btw- I consider myself a hybrid writer, in that I’m a mix of a plotter and a ‘pantser’. But through this process I feel I’ve come up with some of my best moments. I remember one was an eclipse happening in the middle of a huge battle scene, and everyone stops to look at it.

This isn’t happening in Master of Daggers lol, it was a previous book.

But if you’re reading this… just a little teaser… Alcarond is getting time to shine in Master of Daggers.

And I always love when my characters enter new, dangerous lands…

The book should probably get done being written in 3 months? So expect a much earlier release than what the pre-order says.
